How to Comment on the Supplemental Proposal for the Produce Rule
The first open comment period for the proposed Produce Rule closed on Friday, November 22, 2013. After initial review of over 15,000 comments submitted to the docket, the FDA released a supplemental document proposing revisions to key areas of the Produce Rule on September 19, 2014 including:

The proposed rule supplement was published in the Federal Register on Monday, September 29, 2014. There will be a 75 day comment period which closes on December 15, 2014. A summary of the key revisions can be found on the FDA's website or you can download the full document online.
